Score lookups
Typing a score takes you to that score's page, so the number appears in the page address like any other page visit. It is not linked to your name or to any credit file, and we do not build profiles from it.
Analytics
We use Statcounter to count visits and see which pages are read. It records information such as pages viewed, referring site, browser and approximate location, and may set a cookie. Our web server also keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
Contact form
If you write to us, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply and follow up on corrections. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Comments
If you post a comment we keep the text and the first name you give, if any, and show them on the page once they have been read. If you add your email, we use it only to send you one message when we reply; it is never shown on the site. To stop spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser type, and comments may be checked by an automated spam classifier run by a third-party provider (TypeSafe), which receives the comment text only.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not run credit checks, and we do not share what you send us with lenders.
